So much can change in three years. I choose these three photos from three separate years in our joint life, with each representing something big. The first, our engagement, the second our wedding, and the third, our adventure living in another country. We are such different people in each of these times. It's amazing how life changes so quickly. It makes me wonder how different we will be when we look again in 30 years. It's scary. And exciting. I can't decide which one it's more of but I do know that I'm going to be treasuring each new moment.

The take two sketch this month was very detailed, which made it so much easier to just pick my papers and construct. I take a lot of photos for instagram so I printed a series of two square photos to the same size as the essence bebe cut apart blocks in order to use a block as the third picture. This was the first of many cut apart sheets I used to construct this layout. That’s what I love the most about this system, it makes scrapping so easy. Layering the cut aparts gives great dimension to the layout and reduces the amount of journaling the page needed. The finishing details came from a small fabric flag I had floating around, a touch a grey mist splatters and no layout of mine would be complete without the essence gems. I seriously can’t get enough.
