Hi everyone! I'm excited to share with you a pocket page that I created using the new Essence Empire Bebe range! The colors and prints in this paper range are so fresh and sweet- perfect for all of those precious baby layouts.
This is my cousin's first granddaughter- Amelia. She is so precious and sweet and I just couldn't help but scrap these photos of her.
I used the Essence D-ring Album refills for this pocket page and had so much fun embellishing the individual pockets. Here I used the stork stamp from the Finishing pack along with one of the Building cards.
If you are like me and love trims, but are unsure how to use them with the pocket pages, a great way to add those trims is on top of the pocket. I used some very strong double sided adhesive and just placed it on top of the pocket. I also used some buttons to fill in the sun on this cute Building Card.
Here is another way to use trims and ribbons on your pocket pages. I tied a piece of ribbon around this Building card into a bow-but the bow is a bit too bulky for a pocket page. So I used a craft knife and cut out a strip of the pocket to allow space for the bow (don't forget to place a scrap of chipboard inside the pocket before you cut so that you don't cut all of the way through)
The Bella! Floral packs are perfect for adding that little extra to you Foundation cards.

Beautiful pocket layout Pattie - LOVE how you have decorated each panel with pretty bling, flowers, ribbons & trim!!!
The soft neutrals of Essence really do work with any colour combo :)
