Hi everyone, it's back to school time and I thought it would be nice to surprise all the handworking students with treats in these little backpacks.
I had several of the single serving cereal boxes stored away waiting for some insipration and this was the perfect time to use them. I opened up the boxes and covered them with happy prints from our Carnival Queen line. Then I used ribbons to make the straps for the bag. Once everything was assembled the tiny backpacks were just too cute for words.
Now all these need are the actual treats to be placed inside. :)
Supplies:
RCQ88 - Carnival Queen 12x12 Cardstock - Candy Stripe (SKU: 9312271029088)
RCQ32 - Carnival Queen 12x12 Cardstock - Jazzy (SKU: 9312271029132)
RCQE64 - Carnival Queen Party Picks 12pces (SKU: 9312271030664)
RRBF's embossed cards are my to-go item when I'm making a card. Here's a card of encoragement for the kid moving on to a new school.
The SPELLBINDER's scallop circle die can be positioned anywhere on the card and I used it to cut a hole at the front of the card making it a peek-a-boo effect.
Open the card and you get a rainbow of happy colors. I do hope this will perk up the recipient.
