March Guest Designer: Summer Fullerton

We are SO very excited to bring back our guest designer series to all of you!

And to kick things off, this month, we have the amazing Summer Fullerton!

Here's some fun facts about Summer:

I get scrapbooking inspiration from so many places. I adore textile prints, graphics and and fabulous color. Just like so many scrapbookers I am a Pinterest addict and I like to store so many ideas online. Pinterest has transformed how I organize my inspiration. http://pinterest.com/sifullerton/boards/

My layouts are the vehicle for my stories. This is generally where I begin the process. Once I decide on my story and photos I often sketch ideas in a grid notebook that I faithfully tote around to store my ideas.

My current go to tool is my Silhouette. But I also couldn’t live without the basics like my paper piercer, metal and clear rulers and exacto blade.

I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and now I live in the burbs just west of town.

I have been scrapbooking since 1997. I currently design for Jillibean Soup, Lily Bee Design and Scrapbook & Cards Today. I put together a monthly color challenge called the Color Suite (http://www.scrapbookandcards.com/the-colour-suite) for Scrapbook & Cards Today that is comes out monthly on the 15th.
