Hello and Happy Monday Ruby Rock-It Bella! Fundamentals fans! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend...did you get in some scrappy time for NSD?
It's Erin here today, and I have a little gift I created for my very sweet and amazing Mom!
She is always there for me, and doesn't ask for anything, so she can be tricky when it comes to gifts.
This year, I created a little home decor piece for her, and tucked underneath the bottom of the birdcage are some very special letters that my daughters and I wrote to her.
For the base, I cut out a circle from one of our August Moon papers, and added a mask with a Vintage doily. Then, I overlapped some more doilies, and added our Vintage Floral clear bling across the top.
For the bird and her nest, I used some more August Moon papers, along with some vellum underneath the bird.
For the top and outside of the birdcage, I cut strips of our August Moon papers, wrapped them around a straw and then misted them lightly to hold the form. The flowers were created from August Moon papers, vellum, our Fundamentals flowers, and bling.
Thank you for stopping by today, hope you enjoyed this little gift idea! Looking forward to more Mother's Day ideas from our amazing DT, aren't you?
Happy Crafting!
