Ruby Rock-it Bella! Fundamentals Designs was created by Fynmark in Australia in 2008. Already successful with other mainstream papercraft brands in the local market Creative Director Joanna wanted to create a new brand that focused on all the things she loved – vintage style papers and richly textured embellishments – and so Ruby Rock-it was born. “It’s an acknowledgement to my grandmothers who were a huge influence in my life growing up – their tea-cup patterns, their love of all things olde-worlde.”

butterflies and pinwheels delight with August Moon

Hi Ruby Rock-it fans,

Gina here with you today to share some more pretties made with the new August Moon collection.

Friends card:

I paired August moon papers with some Bella! embossed cardstock to create this simple friends card.I love the blue cardstock paired with the glitter paper from the August Moon collection, it really gives it a pop!

next up, I have a fun altered project to share with you. I created pinwheels out of August moon papers and paired them with small wooden spools that come with the Nostalgia collection (paper twine spools).

Spring Pinwheels:

The result is a fun spring themed project. These were so easy and fun to make, I just borrowed some bamboo skewers from my kitchen cabinet and wrapped them with cream lace found in the August moon collection. I finished them by adding some mini pom pom ribbon to the bottom.
