Hello Ruby Rock-It fans!! Sarah here today. Can you believe there are only 9 days until Christmas?! The time has flown by!! Have you finished your holiday shopping?? Me... NO! I've been too busy playing with Ruby Rock-It's gorgeous papers and goodies :)
My December tradition was highlighted HERE. My family and I just love to go to the Museum of Science and Industry each and every year to see their "Christmas Around the World" display. There are tons and tons of trees decorated from all over the world.
Well, I would like to show you how you can decorate with a non-traditional color scheme for the holidays!! For the last several years I have had a Christmas theme of pinks, teals, oranges, lime greens, and purples. The Bella! Paper Doll line from Ruby Rock-It fits in PERFECTLY with my color scheme. You can find the entire line HERE on their website.
As you can see, my other ornaments are quite bright :) And Pink! I created this adorable ornament using some scraps I had from the Bella! Paper Doll line. This ornament was SO EASY to make, too! One craft glass ornament, some paper strips, and an embellishment. You can make lots of these ornaments with your favorite Ruby Rock-It paper line!! And the paper doesn't have to be Christmas themed :)
I also love other holiday decorations around the house. So I made this fun Christmas Tree holiday decoration to set on the front table when you walk in the door. I just love Xmas trees in any form!! I am in love with the rolled paper look for the tree in the bright non-traditional holiday colors. You can definitely have a Christmas look with no green or red in sight!! The Bella! Paper Doll banners were PERFECT for the garland on the tree. Add some bling and you're done!
Christmas time is the time for family. And like I said earlier, the whole family goes to see the "Christmas Around the World" exhibit at the museum. I just had to create a layout using the Bella! Paper Doll line using (yep, you guessed it!!) non-traditional holiday colors :)
This year's family trip will be tomorrow!! And I can not wait :)
I totally heart your rolled paper tree !
