Happy Tuesday Ruby Rock-It fans!
I'm Sarah Hill and one of the members of the inaugural Ruby Rock-It Design Team. I can not express how excited I am to be a part of this wonderful team with so many talented ladies.
I'm in my late 20s (although most people think I look like I'm in my late teens!! I even sound like it!!haha) and found a new love for the crafting hobby when I started working at my LSS last year. This was THE BEST job I've ever had. When the store closed this summer I cried. I really did. I made so many friendships and just loved my job. In the last several years, I would say my scrapboooking style has morphed into a very simple style with a little bit of clutter on my projects. I like clutter, just not too much.
I'm lucky to get to have my own crafting space in my home. I kind of claimed it before my husband could say otherwise when we moved in to our house (hey, he got the basement!). I painted it my most favorite color~pink! I added some black and white accents and it is definitely my getaway. I have lots and lots of storage at the other end of the room.
My favorite project I did for the Ruby Rock-It design team call is definitely the mini album I did. I think my most favorite aspect of scrapbooking is making mini albums... I like to cram everything into one album and you just can't do that with a one- or two-page layout!
Here are a couple pictures of some recent projects I've done that reflect my style. The first one is (of course!) a mini album I did that I constructed from scratch. The other is a card I made my husband for our anniversary. I'm pretty proud of the card because I rarely make cards.
I hope you were able to get some inspiration and I can not WAIT to design some more Ruby Rock-It projects for all of you!!
Happy Scrapping!
What fabulous creations! It's so fun getting to know you better :) I love your pink walls!
