Meet The Team--Rebecca Keppel

Hi All! I'm Rebecca Keppel and I am over the moon excited to be here with you all and designing with Ruby Rock-It Designs!

In the beginning of 2005 I was a corporate attorney in San Francisco, but then my daughter was born and I became a stay at home mom. I started scrapbooking around that time and found the creative outlet a santity saver to say the least! We moved to Arizona and my son was born in 2007. They are the main stars of my scrapbooking show. I love practicing new photography skills on them and then creating layouts with those pictures. I also enjoy card making and creating mini albums and gifts for friends and family.

My creative space has evolved quite a bit since I started scrapbooking. My first spot in the house was a small desk in a inset of the wall in the hallyway. I quickly outgrew that area and now I share a space which we call the office. One one side is my desk,

on the other the kids have a small table and chairs

and a cart that holds their craft supplies.

I have a cube organization system,

a peg board on the wall

and various shelves in the closet.

Recently we finally got around to getting rid of my daughter's diaper table. We were going to try and sell it, but it is enormous and extremely heavy so, I requisitioned it back into the office for a standing work space and some more storage :)

My favorite Ruby Rock-It layout I've made is this one using the Bella! Paper Boy Collection:

I think this layout is pretty typical of my style--fun, but clean and a focus on the photos--with plenty of machine stitching. (I love to use my sewing machine on paper, but I don't have a clue as to hwo to sew clothes!)

Your craft area is fantastic and love that the kids have their own space! The layout is fantastic, and I can't wait to see what else you share, so inspiring!!!

Love your crafting space!! I am also in love with that layout!!! I loved the yellow background paper so much, I couldn't use it... hahaha. Can't wait to start designing with you.
