Homemade Nostalgia

I love all the sewing and homespun elements in Ruby-Rock-It's Nostalgia line. When my Mom was in town over Thanksgiving, she gave me a quick sewing lesson and I made my first project--a nightgown for my daughter. 

All the thread labels and Nostalgia goodies were perfect highlights for a layout about it:

and the glitter letters and pretty flower gave a pretty, girly touch:

Not only is my daughter the first beneficiary of my first real sewing project (rather than just on layouts) but she also enjoys the fruits of my hair accessory labor:

The chipboard spool cover was just right as an "O" in my title:
