Hi everyone,
I hope that your Monday is starting off well. We are celebrating free form February here on the Ruby Rock-it blog. Because many of us are just getting back from CHA, Rachel decided to give the team the freedom to create with the collection of our choice. I chose to use the Bella Paper Doll collection for my first project:
Original Beautiful K layout:
Because the pattern papers in this collection are so bold and fun, I decided to keep the base of the layout simple and play around with some stitching on my new sewing machine that I just got for Christmas. I added a chipboard K and felt flower, confetti stickers, and doll banner (also from the Paper Doll collection) and a rhinestone from the wedding collection.
Here is a close up of the stitching.
Those semi circles were a lot of work, but I thought that they added so much fun detail to the layout.
My next project is a layout that I created for the Ruby Rock-it booth at CHA using the Bella Melrose collection.
Cherish layout:
I also added some tags and flowers from the fundamentals collection. I must admit that it was a bit of a challenge for me at first to create a layout only using black and white but I love the crisp prints and trims in this line and am really happy with the outcome. Both of the collections that I used in my post today can be found at Scrapbook.com and Scrapjazz.com.
Thanks for visiting the Ruby Rock-it blog today, please stop by again tomorrow to see what Benedicte created for Free form February.

Wow, love this black and white layout!! It would be hard for me to scrap with that printed background but by going all black and white and matting the photo it turned out awesome!
