My celebration is an afternoon tea. After the excitement of Christmas and New Year, my party is a small and intimate affair. Just a gathering of close friends for quiet conversation.
Guests were greeted with these jewelled party hats. The hats signified how much I treasured their friendship. They also hinted at the pampering treats that have been prepared.
Paramount to the success of a tea party is tea. I filled handmade tea bags with different varieties of custom-blends. And tagged each bag with the ingredient list for easy selection by the guests.
There were also freshly baked scones and tempting sweet jams on the table. Everyone had such a lovely time !
If you like the ideas from my English tea party, leave a comment and you could win an entire Vintedge collection. Tomorrow Sarah will share her fantastic celebration ideas. Remember to come check them out.

That looks amazeing, you realy get the old english feel

All I can say is 'STUNNING'. What makes it all so much more amazing is the timeframe! When did you do it all, Sandy? While you were making Christmas cards? In the days between Christmas and the Tea Party? I am downright 'rocked' and speechless with admiration!
