For some of you in other countries you have already began to ring in the New Year, cheers to you! For those of us in the U.S. we are now doing the countdown as I write this from PST at 9 am on the west coast.

Keely's Christmas Traditions

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday.  A few weeks ago, I posted some photos of the Santa's that I collect.  I created this layout with a few of those photos.  I love decorating my home with the Santa's I have collected over the years. 

I used some of my favorite Ruby Rock-It products to create my layout.  Believe it or not, this is the Bella Wedding collection.  The elegant gold, cream, and tan were just perfect for a holiday layout.  I just love the textured tan cardstock.  I added paper stars and chipboard alphas from the Bella Paper Boy collection.

Ruby Rock-It cards and envelopes are wonderful for thank you's and notecards.  I used one of my favorite Santa photos, Bella Paper Boy card, and Bella Wedding collection papers to create this fun thank you card.

Homemade Christmas

Hello again, it's Erin with you today!  I hope you and your families are all enjoying this beautiful season upon us!

Earlier this month, I shared about how decorating our Xmas tree is one of my favorite traditions during this time of year!

And, now I will share with you a few creations around why this season makes me and my family so very happy:)

 

 

First up, is a little ornament featuring this gorgeous Xmas range!

My daughter's fingerprints again make up the heart, and I added in a beautiful chipboard glitter piece as well!

And here's a gift tag, with a gift card on the back:)

And a homemade poinsetta that my dear friend Pattie shared with me!

And finally, here's a layout back in 2006, when our second daughter was just a few weeks old...we had just brought her home from the NICU, and that evening had our first family-of-four photo in front of our beautiful little tree!  My husband and older daughter carried on our tradition of trimming the tree while I stayed with our baby in the hospital.  That year and every year since has just brought us more joy when we look back at our treasures and reminisce together!

Jodi's Christmas Traditions Projects

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the festivities, and enjoying your family and friends this holdiay season! I am here to share with you today some projects that were inspired by my favorite traditions.  Do you remember how much I love to decorate the tree, where each ornament told a story?  I have three projects today to share with you. The first one I created was a hanging mobile for my home daycare:

I found this wired and simiple looking mobile at my local mall, and thought how cute it would look with hanging photos and hanging decor from the Bella Paper Boy Collection! (You will have to excuse the mess behind it! The glory of running a home daycare!) The best part about this project, is that each photo and card is held by a clip, which means I can change it up anytime I want with new photos! Here are some close ups of the cards I made for the mobile:

Also, if you recall, one of my favorite ornaments (and my son's) was his truck ornament! I was immediately drawn to the Bella Paper Boy Collection (especially the cute little car!) Here is the card I made:

Finally, I HAD to make an ornament. I used a plastic clear ornament and filled it will bella Wedding Line by rolling small strips around a pencil until the ornament was filled. I then placed the flowers on the front and the back of the ornament and add some bling too.  Here it is:

Scrapping Christmas Traditions with Carrie

Whew! I made it throught the last couple of days. Can you believe all that prepping and shopping and baking...and now it is over? This year was so crazy for me, somehow the days just totally got passed me. As much as I hate to say it, I am almost glad it is over. I made so many cookies and wrapped so many presents I am glad there is 364 more days until the next one. I did manage to get a few layouts done though. I wanted to show you my Christmas traditions that I shared with you earlier this month scrapped...not only did I showcase the photos in layouts, I was able to show how you can use these wonderful Ruby Rock-It girl and boy papers in a very non traditional way. The first layout I did for you is my daughter with her new Christmas pajamas. I used the Paper Doll line for her and for my son I was able to use the Paper Boy line. I really hope you enjoyed these projects as much as I enjoyed making them for you...remember....you don't always have to stay in the box with your lines, and I hope I was able to show you that.

My favorite tradition is the handmade tree ornament that I make every year for my kids! I've made one every year for 30 years now and am now starting to make them for my little grand-daughter! It's so rewarding to see my adult children using the ornaments on their own trees now.

Scrapping December & Christmas Traditions with JJ

Hi Ruby Rock-it fans!  JJ here again, to show you some pages I scrapped about my traditions. 

This first page features products from the Paper Doll and Paper Boy collections (since these photos include both my boy and my doll) ;)    These collections mix well together.

I love that the chipboard shapes and felt icons are just the right thickness for layering!

I found the perfect words in the sticker sheet, too!

My next layout is about the pewter ornaments that I collect each year.  I used papers from the Le Jardin collection, because the backs were absolutely perfect for a Christmas page!

I thought of these silver tags right away for using on a pewter themed page.  To give them a little more seasonal look I embossed them with a snowflake pattern. 

I die-cut holly shapes from the papers, and doodled some stitches for a little definition.  (I find doodling helps give die cut shapes a little more character).

My third December Tradition layout is about our roadtrips to see my family.  It's not a short trip, and you never know for sure what the roads will be like this time of year.  

To get a wintery look I combined silver papers from the Wedding line with some papers from the Le Jardin line.

I made an embellishment cluster with flowers and tags from the cardmaker line and felt & chippies from the Paper Doll line.

These mini letters are perfect for use in a long title.

**DECEMBER DRAWING** extended.

Hello Ruby Rock-It fans! Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays so far. If you will recall I announced a drawing on December 1st. Scrapping Christmas Traditions with Debbie

Hello Ruby Rock-it fans!!  Today I want to share a few projects with you that I made with Ruby Rock-its Christmas Cheer collection.  When I was a little girl ( a very long time ago) my parents started a yearly tradition that included a trip to Santa's lap.  Today that tradition continues with my grandkids.  It's always fun to see how they will react to this sweet icon we call Santa.  The first project I want to share with you today is a layout of my littlest grand daughter's first visit to Santa's lap.  It's so sweet...she was not the least bit scared...this year was a different story. 

 

This next project is a cute little stocking banner which is hanging at my office as we speak.  I've had so many comments on the beautiful embellishments that are also Ruby Rock-it's Christmas Cheer collection.

This card is one that I will have a hard time parting with.  Love those flowers and the cute jingle bells finish this card off perfectly!
