Some of my favorite things to do when this time of year rolls around involve taking brisk walks no matter the weather but especially if there is snow and then coming home to a hot tea or warm cider sprinkled with cinnamon. Yum! and cozy!

Marti

One of the kids' favorite traditions is:

About once a week in December, we drive through and get ice cream, then drive around looking at Christmas lights.

My fave Christmas Tradition is making Christmas Cookies using my great-grandmother's recipe. Then on Christmas Eve, we sip cocoa and decorate them.

My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies and making Christmas crafts to decorate the house with! Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite tradition is traipsing around in the snow (sometimes for miles) to find the PERFECT Christmas tree.

It's even more special now that some of the thousands of trees we planted 10 years ago are big enough to be cut - makes the Christmas tree truly OURS. :)

Tory Frail

My favourite tradition is coloring in Christmas coloring books with my mom and my sister. My other favourite is the present we get to open Christmas eve - new Christmas PJs!

Kelly Sas

My favorite tradition is going to Candle Light service at Church with the whole family and then at the end when the whole congregation sings Silent Night while holding a candle - well, every year it brings tears to my eyes. So beautiful!

Our favorite Holiday tradition is opening one present on Christmas Eve. It's always new jammies but my girls just love it!

My favorite Holiday tradition is going to church with my Dad late at night Christmas Eve and when you leave...it is Christmas. We then drive around and look at all the Christmas lights and snow and then go home and wrap presents. Christmas is so magical!

Mine is having Christmas dinner the night before with my husbands family. I love having little family get togethers and it's always just the in-laws their kids, and their partners and their children. They have been doing it before I was even with my husband all this 12 years ago and I just LOVE the fact that no matter what we always do it together. And on the way home we try and find as many houses with Christmas lights, by the time we hit home our 3 girls are SO excited and full and buggered and I just think it's an exciting and fantastic way to bring in Christmas day!

One of our favorite holiday traditions is to have homemade potato soup with seasoned oyster crackers for Christmas eve. My mom started this tradition when I was a kid and now my daughter and nieces still ask for it. Even though there sometimes may only be 3 or 4 of us that night we still make a big pot of soup.

I love baking gingerbread cookies with my kids on Christmas eve!!

My favorite tradition as a kid was being able to open some gifts on Christmas Eve. It all started because one of us kids suggested that we each open one from each other in order to make room under the tree for Santa to leave his gifts in the morning :) Over the years it went from just opening one to opening everything that was under there so that Santa had a clean slate on which to leave all of his gifts LOL! Now that I have a child of my own, I hope to be able to continue that fun tradition :)

Our family's favorite tradition is driving around town looking at Christmas lights and decorations. We turn Christmas music on the radio, roll the windows down, and have hot chocolate and popcorn. There's nothing like it!

Nancy Cokely

I love my Christmas tree--29 years of gold and white decorations with white lights and gold garland and tinsel. I also love snow-any amount and any time! My favorite Christmas song is O Holy Night!

Your products are lucious!

It's hard to pick a favourite tradition but I think minne would have to be putting the nativity out. Each year we take time (even though it is just hubby and me now) around the 1st of December and put the nativity out. It is one of my favourite decorations too.

Heather Robertson

every year dh and the kids buy me a 1000+ jigsaw puzzle. At the beginning of December we take the previous years puzzle and start to work on it - a little at a time - takes a few weeks to complete - especially when the cat likes to undo our progess

Hope

Our favorite holiday tradition is going to see Southern Lights. Our horse park is lit up in animated lights and we drive through the park to see all the different lights and then tour the welcome center to view all the different vendors and get pictures with Santa.

My favorite holiday tradition is to bake cookies and take trays to friends (even if I have to mail them)! Course at home, I read Twas the Night Before Christmas, though these days, I read it to my dogs.

Katrina

Just hanging out with family playing board & card games! :)

Our tradition is that we spend Christmas Eve with my in-laws and then Christmas Day with my side of the family. Sometimes our friends come over later in the day and we play cards or games. Just a great time to spend with family and friends.

Hey there! Or should I type ho ho ho! It's that time of the year indeed and my fave traditions involve a gingerbread decorating party, finding the special ornament hidden on the tree, gathering with family for Christma eve to sing Christmas carols, and wrapping presents while listening to the muppets Christmas Together album. :) pure joy! Ope that wasn't too much!
